Textbooks.mom respects the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers, and copyright holders and expects its users to do the same. This policy outlines our procedures for handling claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Copyright Infringement Notification (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you believe that content available on textbooks.mom infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.
Your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed

3. Our Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Textbooks.mom will promptly:
- Review the claim
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the content uploader or seller of the takedown
Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in the United States and accepting service of process from the original complainant

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the content unless the copyright owner files a court action within 10–14 business days.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Textbooks.mom maintains a zero-tolerance policy for repeat copyright infringement. Users or sellers who repeatedly upload infringing content may face:
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Loss of access to purchased or uploaded content
6. False or Abusive Claims
Submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in legal liability under U.S. law. Please ensure all claims are accurate and submitted in good faith.
7. Policy Modifications
Textbooks.mom reserves the right to update this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
